imgur.com/a/ubVet5UThese two individuals seem to be incredibly broadly-built imgur.com/a/ZHvoyd9There appear to be some similarities with these Ainus (not in "exotic" styling like a lot of other older Ainu pics) I think there's a chance that Ainu/Jomon could be the world's number one most widely built population (and then maybe Austronesians following them)

I'm not sure why certain people online (especially on Youtube and Quora) always like to claim that Japanese are related to Austronesians or SE Asians. Maybe modern Japanese (particularly certain celebrities) have mixed with SE Asians, but if you take a look at group photos of Japanese in the 70's and 80's as well as group photos of old-aged Japanese politicians, you'll realize that they look rather similar to Koreans or Northern Chinese and don't look SE Asian at all. Here're some examples Many of these men have profound similarities with northern Austronesians (Taiwanese aboriginals and Igorots). But northern Han esp. from Shandong and Koreans do also. Visayans are admixed with ~20% more of something Onge-like than TW aboriginals and Igorots and hence look less "samurai" at times, but still have similarities often

Core Austronesian Looks (closer to epicenter of Austronesian dispersal, more of these types, further away, decreased) Taiwanese Aborigines: imgur.com/a/PGmi2Kp (Atayal tattoo artist) Old pictures of Igorot Tribals: imgur.com/a/p1akejm (elderly presumably Kalinga man)

They look most similar to Koreans, followed by Northern and Central Chinese. If you put a Taiwanese aborigine and a Japanese side by side, you can clearly see the difference. For instance, here's a photo of Taiwanese aborigine singer Fan Yichen (left) with Japanese actress Tanaka Chie (right). Fan looks very much like a Filipino whereas Tanaka looks similar to a Korean woman.

Comparisons to Koreans don't really say much because Koreans are overtly Austronesian as well cdn2.ettoday.net/images/5774/5774313.jpgIf you took a TW abo, mixed it with something like 10% Evenki, you'd achieve her exact face. But the base/underlying structure is obviously not from the Evenki part

Her eyes and facial structure are clearly different from Fan's. She has very light eyebrows, smaller eyes, and her eyebrows are set quite far apart from her eyes, unlike Fan who has thick and bushy eyebrows that are set very close to the eyes. And Japanese aren't just 10% Northern, they have at least 1/3 Amur-related genome.

The eye structure is different, I feel that Far South Chinese and TW aborigines tend to have a deeper orbital region compared to Northern Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Of course, you can cherry-pick out a few similar individuals after all Taiwan was colonized by Japan for over half a century, though most of the TW aborigines still look different from Japanese. I think you'll probably find more individuals similar to Northern Chinese and Japanese among the Hokkien or Hakka speakers of Taiwan.

Do northern Han even have high eyebrows in China? I think very high eyebrows might be more common on the east coast somewhere. Tungids are oftentimes lowbrow.
I suspect e.g Shanxi might have lower eyebrows than Fujian.

Literally every other feature but their eyes correspond. You sometimes seem to hyper-focus on eyes to the detriment of other features imgur.com/a/O40vzEaHere is a Japanese athlete from Hokkaido who looks almost identical to that Taiwanese aboriginal girl, even including eye/brow area

I don't want to argue with a person who is obviously biased and trolling and who often contradicts himself You can believe in what you want, if you want to live in your dream world then feel free to do so.
