That's because they don't get how somebody doing Bruce Lee noises or sarcastically bowing or using a mocking "Asian" accent is offensive.
They have never experienced these by White people, so when they see Asian-Americans or Overseas Asians being offended by it and think we are "fake Asians crying over nothing":
(1) They think we are stirring trouble between Whites and "true Asians" when we complain about these sorts of racism
(2) They think we are "ruining" the peaceful lovely friendship between Whites and Asians when we do this. This is because they look up to Whites and so when we complain, it dampens their ego and confidence because they had romantic fantasies about Whites loving them and them having a billion White friends.
