Are there certain Asian ethnicities that you enjoy hanging out with? That you feel comfortable around and treat like your own family? That perhaps historically or politically you consider allies to your own? Here's a few of mine and accompanying reasons.
Friends
Enemies
1. Indians - Very bad experience with them as team members for group assessments. Also had family and friends taken advantage of by their Indian bosses. They're extremely racist, some of the biggest I've seen yet. Very, very hypocritical about Tibet when their invasions of Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Kashmir, Gujarat, etc. is many times of greater magnitude.
They're the kind of people that you need to experience to understand. When they're in a group or in communities where they are an overwhelming majority, their true colors shine. Indian nationalists also always fantasize about nuking Chinese cities. I personally think China should start funding separatist rebels in India. China should also ignore India's sovereignty of occupied territory and form pacts with them, fighting for their independence.
1. Malays/Indons - The funniest part is I never gave a shit about them before. I saw a really annoying weaboo one by the name of MalaysianExpat (like poohunter, this guy is a super sleazebag) on thediplomat but I reasoned that he didn't represent all Malays. Then I came across this Indon prick: disqus.com/by/disqus_nVk1tv6ibe/
It's almost comical how that loser feels Chinese (he can't even make the distinction between people and government) are always in the wrong, but is overly defensive when it comes to Indonesians doing the same thing.
Then along came 222 and Poohunter on EB88. As you can see every 'Malay' I've come across has essentially been a piece of crap. But then I started to focus on how Malays treat the ethnic minorities in 'their Malay lands', the Papuans/Timorese for the Indonesians and the Orang Asli/Penan for Malays. And that's when I realized that not only are they disgustingly unlikeable on the internet, in the real world they're plain evil and prime candidates for western intervention (Iraq style).
3. Arabs and Egyptians - Just a bunch of sickening ragheads
