Do people not understand that I speak English because

I did not learn English for fun or out of my own interest. Diasporic Chinese people go to school whether that be in USA, Canada, UK, Australia or whatever, because that's common sense, and they teach English there? I did not learn English because I feel that I am culturally English or because I wanted to be Anglo for an aesthetic effect, as if I had these romantic visions of Shakespeare and Henry VIII in my head while being ~English~ and cosplaying in a doublet and ruff. And most importantly I must use English proficiently to participate, function, and succeed in the society in which I live.
	My pseudoifying urges are tingling I must thrust my crotch toward the desired target
