Since there are like billion of people in the Sinosphere including 1.4 billion in China alone , how do different people avoid having the same username and lastname with another person? Also how do they avoid getting duplicate names if there surnames are in the list of the 100 most common Chinese surnames?
Let say if parents name there kid Wang Zheng, how do they know the name is unique and that there aren't million more Wang Zhengs? Or does the difference in "Zheng" characters in Mandarin will help avoid the name duplication?
Let say if parents name there kid: Li Hongming, how does they know there aren't other Li Hongming in China, Taiwan, Singapore? Or how would they know there aren't Korean version of their kids name like Lee Hong Myeong around?
I mean how do Chinese parents give unique name to their offspring without them being shared with others?

Well it's the same as in the West There's bound to be someone with the same name There's so many possible combinations and character variants in Chinese.
It's not usual to come across someone with an identical family and given name though, but it can happen.

So yeah it happens but the likelihood of actually meeting someone with the exact same name as you is rare I think. Some names are more common than others, especially if you have a single character given name and a common surname like Zhang, Li, Wang IMO.
