Because currently most Hanfu (bar Ming) looks very informal in todays context due to the long flowing and thin fabrics.
So if we take a Hanfu and make it tailored and fitted would it look something like that?
The fabric is not supposed to be shiny satin silk (which is arguably not very formal in todays context)
The fabric is matte silk, so it is NOT shiny because shiny looks kind of informal and tacky I think.
There are no patterns because patterns are generally not very formal and kind of tacky I think.
And yes she is wearing White gloves because that's formal
