How stupid can Cenk Uygur and co-host Ana Kasparian be? Here they are standing behind blacks and latinos while attacking an asian student who only wants to study.
They have obviously never studied interstate/internationally before. Dorms are insanely noisy and the university library is about the most convenient place for students to study. Saying they should leave is just nonsense. And finals can be extremely stressful, we don't even know what pressures the girl was under. She could have been on a scholarship and her grades were critical, she could have had financial difficulties and could not afford to fail, she could have been on her last leg and struggling to pass through the finals, she could have had immense pressure from her parents.
Telling someone to chill out just because they don't have to do the finals is as insensitive as it comes.
Seriously these two are idiots. I hate almost every segment they've done about asians.
It's either:
1. Supporting them in an attempt to pit them against white americans
2. Pitting them against NAMs
3. Reinforcing some BS stereotypes about them
4. Making them look bad
or
5. Hypocritically lecturing them what they should do and straw manning them in the most ignorant fashion ever. Unsurprisingly, this often manifests itself when they're complaining about Asian ignorance. Pot, meet kettle.
