The band are Japanese but the song is in English and it seems to embody and champion being mistaken as a Western production with Western people or Japanese with strong Western features and possible ~hafu~ people. I almost thought it was American or Australian until the accent was off.

She's beautiful! The girl reminds me of one the characters in Netflix's Terrance House: Aloha State. That show has a surprisingly high mix of half-Japanese and a few characters that aren't Japanese at all. It's a nice to see some diversity in a Japanese show.
