Personally, I would like to think it's me (and I'm honestly not a very good cook) but whenever I feel that I've outdone myself, mom shows me up. Then there are things that I realize I just can't make. Like cakes, it's messy and my hands turn all icky and gross but mom does it like a pro (even though my grandmother never made them in her childhood and she learned it all by herself) Now that I live away from home, hopefully my skills will improve in due time. eldertree I've seen some of the food you've made yourself and I think you could have been a chef if you wanted to (the opportunity is still there) lol

Depends on the dish, I'm probably better on some things but worse at others. Overall my parents have more cooking experience and know more dishes. Siblings, I think I'm better generally lol

You make a good point about experience but still it's impressive that you beat your parents at some things. I can't surpass mine at anything. Unless it's dishes that they have no idea about like various western sausages, savory pastries and stuffed meats but then again, I'm not familiar with those either. I can do cordon bleu which I stole off from a recipe book. Not sure how old your siblings are but when it comes to mine, it wouldn't even be fair. It'll literally be an adult competing against a teenager, a preteen and child
