against being the victims of real crime and bullying even though there are plenty of high school stories that some people would rather harbor and share. PV is another one of those Asian immigrants who has witnessed this occurrence. Are we the only two?
And I don't mean getting commented on in an underhanded way by someone who just has beef with your race. I mean does the perp actually come up to you and actually hit you under the belt. I've not met anyone outside of my rather super large circle, that is Asian, who has experienced traumatic crime but perhaps they do exist?

Aside from silly questions like whether I'd support China or America in the event of a war or whether I consider myself Chinese/American, I've never experienced actual racism. But I know for a fact it's happened to many others. Lots of friends can comment on that. It's quite an interesting question regardless and I've noticed that Asians from Asia and overseas born Asians have different opinions when it comes to what constitutes racism. I personally think comments assuming I'm some other Asian race or where I come from or even if I eat everything with chopsticks isn't racist. But I do think beating up and robbing someone because of their race is racist and a very serious one.

In the West it seems it's considered ~awful~ to be racist against Blacks and Jews. But racism against Asians is treated much less severely, almost like it's fine and not an issue.

Indeed, Sinophobia is the last acceptable racism in America. Not sure how it is in the UK, but in the US there is an active and very aggressive social engineering going on. It's forcing young, impressionable Chinese minds to hate their motherland and Chinese from China. Everyday Chinese Americans are made to renounce their ancestry and heritage, thus producing a rift between those that have been in the US for many generations and newcomers/international tourists from China. In fact, Chinese are the only ones forced to choose between America and China.
You don't see German Americans having to choose.
You don't see Russian Americans having to choose.
You don't see Italian Americans having to choose.
You don't see Peruvian Americans having to choose.
You don't see Japanese Americans having to choose.
You don't see Filipino/Malay Americans having to choose.
You don't see Viet Americans having to choose.
All of these ethnic groups are allowed to enjoy being American while embracing their culture.
