First this was not the movie I expected. But from what I saw in the trailer I thought the movie was not going to be about some moral dilemma for most of the movie. I thought the movie was supposed to be mainly about AI and how the AI woke two people up thinking that their sexual compatibility for each other would allow them to make the most of each other's company before they had to really unite their wits to resolve some problem on the ship.
Instead the movie was about the moral dilemma of waking someone up (interrupting them in their life path) to be with you because you couldn't take the loneliness of deep space.
They still had to fix the ship in the end but they waited until the end and they found out a third person (luckily a crew member) whose wrist band they had to use to gain access to special feature areas to fix the problem.
There were a lot of catch 22 situations in the movie which I liked but most of the movie wasn't even action driven like I thought it would have been.
