LOL whenever I post some photos of above average looking people from Far South China and SE Asia you guys invent bizarre terms like "mediaoid" to imply that they aren't southerners.
So in your opinion only those ugly ones qualify as southerners, is that what you're suggesting? Isn't that racism?
You accuse me and utu as racists but I think you and throway2 are much more racist and discriminatory against Far South Chinese and SE Asians.
There're good-looking and attractive people everywhere, and native southern Asians can be attractive as well.
And the vast majority of Atayal don't look Japanese at all but have their own unique features. Claiming that Atayal all look Japanese is very disrespectful to their culture, language, and race. Really you guys sound and act like those imperial Japanese fascists in WW2 who tried to eliminate and japanify the Taiwanese aborigines. While modern Japanese have largely moved away from that type of mentality, you Sinocentrists still have your mind stuck in the colonial era.
There's no point at all to continue this vicious discussion, just like utu said you guys need to F-off.

Because the people you post don't look super regional and they are styled/presented in a way that is hard to classify. Most of the girls you post as distinct Western Guangdong or Vietnam/Thai look like Austronesian/Sinid generics passable in Japan and Jiangsu. Just because someone has large eyes and narrow gracile face doesn't necessarily make them "far south" looking. Your definition of what is "southern" is too narrow.
And why are you talking about attractiveness again? People just wanna discuss phenos here in an objective manner, not whose side is "better looking". Aesthetics are highly subjective anyways.

He is supposedly of Teochew descent according to biography but he looks very Southern East Asian. I think he could be 1/4 to 1/2 or more Central Thai/Siamese admixed based on his looks. His son can look even more SEA than him. |

There are many types of Lingnan appearance like this,I suggest you take a look at Guangxi's gymnastics champion Li Ning and Hong Kong star Huang Rihua their looks Their similarity is that genes related to the South are elevated and exhibit significant SEA characteristics |

Objective my ass, you and throway2 are f**king double-standard racists and you always try to cast Far South Chinese and SE Asians in a negative light.
Whenever you guys post pictures that you consider to be typical Far South Chinese / SE Asians you guys always cherry-pick old individuals who have long passed their primes, overweight or weird-looking ones, or sometimes even criminals.
But when you guys post pictures of Northern Chinese it's always teenage students or celebrities, as if old, overweight, and weird-looking individuals or criminals don't exist in Northern China.
Of course personally I have nothing against old, overweight, and weird-looking individuals, but if you're going to do a fair comparison you should show them on both sides, you can't just show them on the southerners' side and not on the northerners' side.
And none of the Far South Chinese / SE Asian women that I posted look Japanese or Jiangsu, just because they're above average looking doesn't mean they ought to have come from the north. All of them are quite typical for their region. In general southerners especially Far South Chinese and SE Asians do have a smaller frame and larger eyes when compared to northerners, and I've never said or implied anything like smaller eyes are inferior or larger eyes are superior, I only said that those features are mostly shaped by the environment.
And most importantly I did not intend this thread to be a comparison or match-up between the north and the south to begin with, I just want to show people the genuine phenotypes of Far South Chinese. I've hardly ever posted any pictures of Northern Chinese or North Asians in this thread, except the time when I posted some Shandong criminals (because uisashi posted pictures of GX criminals first).
You and throway2 have trolled all along this thread and have spoiled my thread entirely.
