Like for example this Aliexpress.com sword advert. It includes a maintenance regime for maintaining the good quality of the sword. It says if you are not going to store your sword away with anti rust oil and you want to display it in open air you need to maintain it. Basically it tells you to rub and wipe your sword for 15 minutes daily. Then it says this takes a lot of time but you should think of it as self cultivation.
See this is why I like Chinese culture because it is so awesome and unique in its thinking. They know the customers will be pissed off about having to maintain a sword but they know that Chinese people are into Confucianism so they tell the customers to have patience and to think of it has a practice which will instill virtue. That is totally awesome marketing culture. Like if you can't have the patience in maintaining a product then you simply need to buy the product and instill more patience in yourself so you'd be purchasing the product but getting the value of patience.
