I just saw a documentary called "The Greatest Tomb on Earth: Secrets of Ancient China" and the entire narrative was racist and gross
The presenter called Dan Snow can't even speak or read Chinese, butchers all the Chinese pronunciations, yet goes to China to desperately and greedily "prove" that terracotta warriors are Western creations.
So it's like these White people want to selfishly snatch credit for China's civilisation, and have absolutely no actual interest in Chinese history culture or civilisation (can't even speak or read Chinese) but goes there just to stroke his own ego in those "terracotta are Western" speculations. So they are just stretching and reaching extremely hard for any ~Western connection~ to feel proud
Also it's sort of vicarious because he isn't even Greek he's British. It's like cloaking or pseudoism by using a generic Western category to include themselves as having being part of a grand ancient civilisation of Greece and then indirectly attaching themselves to Babylon, China, Mesopotamia, Indus valley and such forth.
It's racist because he really wants to believe his crap speculations are true to confirm his dogma that Chinese or Asians are uncreative and copy the West. He's also spreading that speculation in a strongly biased way to brainwash Whites to believe the whole world takes their ideas? Wtf? His proof is that the terracotta resemble Greek statues more than the tiny 10 inch statuettes that China previously produced. Weak.

Sophisticated artistic techniques and engineering in “primitive” non-White societies? Impossible! Must be Western Greek influence!
mtDNA (lol) matches Europeans of one skull! A White European travelled to China! Nevermind that mtDNA haplogroup U is thought to originate from West Asia! Western European influence!!!
The skull shape is Caucasian! Nevermind Persians, Indians and their ancestors have Caucasian skulls, this is concrete evidence of "Western" influence!
And so all this greedy reaching is ridiculous.
Basically they want to say a White European travelled to China to educate the inferior uncreative subhuman Chinamen on how to make statues. It's framed in a way to show Western ingenuity and superiority and Asian plagiarism and inferiority. It's infuriatingly racist.

I saw the opening for it on youtube. I happened to see when the white woman rubbed her finger over the nose bridge of a Chinese skull as she said this doesn't look like a typical Asian skull. I'm like get your filthy paws off of my ancestor you damn dirty piece of shit.

The Asian traitor was like "Let me try to please you by agreeing with you and monkeying your ideas. Let me break my neck doing parkour across the vivid landscape of the mausoleum for you and your theory."

The Asian traitor was like "Let me try to please you by agreeing with you and monkeying your ideas. Let me break my neck doing parkour across the vivid landscape of the mausoleum for you and your theory." His name is something Lin so I think he's Taiwanese. It's probably in his interest to minimise Chinese ownership of their own history since he wants people to think Taiwan is the real China and Chinese culture doesn't belong to Chinese people but to Whites, Taiwanese, and anything other than Chinese. He wants to say Pre-Qing isn't really Chinese because Taiwan only retains Qing culture and Taiwan should be used as the gold standard for what's Chinese and what's not. There's no ancient relics in Taiwan so it's like "if us Taiwanese can't have it then Chinese certainly can't". And yes he does jump around like a monkey for some reason. And at the opening scene his friend damages some ancient stonework on top of Qin Shihuang's pyramid by these stupid parkour moves. I was like wtf? I think it was one of those foreshadowing scenes or metaphor to say "this is how much I respect these sites and I always jump to damaging and destructive conclusions to spite Chinese people".

I'm like get your filthy paws off of my ancestor you damn dirty piece of shit. That woman is also disgusting. She was the one talking about haplogroups which is absolutely retarded and also wrong. She also can't read or speak Chinese so she's only in China to greedily stretch and reach for Chinese culture and claim it for her people.
