I'm used to chocolate that taste more like chocolate found in Europe.
When Americans eat their Hershey's chocolate do they think it tastes like vomit?
My cousin once came back from America and brought some snacks for us to try. We all thought the chocolate went bad because it smelt and tasted like puke but he said it's supposed to be like that and that is how they do.
The best chocolate IMO is German, not Belgian.

I'm curious to try cacao like it was originally consumed by the Aztecs and Mayans.
I read somewhere they drank it with spicy chili and unsweetened.
There's a Mexican dish that has savory chocolate sauce called mole.

Hershey's tastes like crap. It's just a brand thing like hershey kisses that makes it popular. Kit Kat tastes way better.

Kit Kat is a good case of expensive doesn't always mean better. Personally I find Kit Kat and M&Ms better than more expensive chocolate brands. I think Hershey's is overrated, expensive and quite honestly not good for the taste buds at all.
I agree with you guys that European chocolates are generally better than those from other regions. I like Swiss chocolates like Lindt.

After all it's made after the famous Italian chocolate maker, Ferrero and I find those divine, Ferrero Rondnoir being even better than the original IMO. I can totally see you going "好吃极了!" after putting one in your mouth Yes, I love Mikado/Pocky products as well. |

It is odd that Hershey syrup makes milk taste better and it doesn't taste like puke in that sense but it could also be said the milk is making the chocolate flavor taste better. Hershey's just really suck at making solid chocolate.
